Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this course, learners will become proficient in solid model designing utilising all the correct and efficient methods to be able to create components, assemblies & 2D drawings for design and manufacturing. Learners will receive foundation training of sheet metal, free form, rendering, 3D print and cloud collaboration environments. This course is designed to get new and experienced CAD users up-to-speed on modelling techniques that can streamline their designs for further updates quickly and easily.

No prior knowledge of Fusion is expected.
Delivery
This course is delivered over 2 days. These are all physical classes at CELTEC, Celbridge, Co. Kildare.
Learners must be available for all days as this is an intensive course with much content to cover over this period.

Certificate of Completion (CPD for Engineers Ireland)

CELTEC (Celbridge Engineering Lab Training and Education Centre) in Co. Kildare is a facility focused on advanced manufacturing and technical education. It offers specialised training in areas like robotics, industrial systems, additive manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
The center emphasises hands-on learning through state-of-the-art equipment, including robotics, cobotics, and virtual reality systems, and fosters expertise in areas like precision engineering and pharmaceutical processes.

CELTEC is part of the Kildare Wicklow Education and Training Board's initiatives and provides traineeships and skill development programs tailored for employment in technical and manufacturing roles. Courses often integrate classroom instruction with online, blended, and immersive learning technologies

This course is only available to those currently in employment and fully funded under the Skills to Advance initiative.
